On the twentieth of June, we celebrate Ameba’s beloved senior copywriter Sean Shemirani’s two year Ameba-versary! To help celebrate, we asked him the run down on all things ‘ameba’ and ‘sean.’
What is the best part about working for Ameba?
My favorite part of working for Ameba by far is the diversity of work I do. I get to write in so many different styles and voices, and every day is different than the next. So not only does the work I do keep me on my toes, it also elevates my skills as a writer.
What is your dream project for the Ameba Team?
I’m fortunate enough to say that I’ve worked on a number of dream projects at Ameba. Particularly when I am given the space to be creative, stretch my imagination and explore different forms of marketing approaches.
A visitor has 1 hour in San Diego. Tell them: What’s for lunch?
Mama’s Bakery in University Heights, every time. You get the Fried Eggplant Wrap, and the Manakeesh Ultimate, and you eat too much of it.
If you had to pick one word to describe your experience at Ameba, what would you use?
Elevating.
How many dogs is too many dogs in the office?
In my opinion, dogs do nothing for Ameba. I remember giving Shayla three simple blogs to write – on her experience as a modern doggie in the workplace. Not only was the grammar shoddy, but came in 2 days after deadline. Inexcusable.
