It is the source of a boundless spirit of adventure — that we bring with us every time we delve into our imaginations, ignite our creative impulses, and dream up ideas to grab the hearts and minds of people everywhere.

It is a fire that guides us in our search for truly effective campaign strategies, with results that are as impressive as they are undeniable.

Our founder

Dr. Doron Malka is a published author, professor at San Diego State University, and President of Ameba Marketing. His ever-malleable, constantly-evolving approach to marketing stems from a multifaceted education, a wealth of professional experience and a worldly upbringing.

Doron was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Hebrew University; an MBA with an emphasis on Marketing from San Diego State University’s College of Business Administration; and a doctorate in Business Administration in Marketing. His doctoral dissertation later became the basis for his book:
BRANDcebo, The Placebo Effect of Brands.

Doron founded Ameba Marketing in 1996, with a singular vision: to create an agency that embraces and applies a YES attitude towards its employees, clients and professional environment. An agency that could break any mold, escape any box, and transform itself to adapt to every client’s needs. Fueled by YES, Doron has spent over three decades personally crafting and managing cutting edge branding, marketing, and public relations campaigns for a diverse selection of brands from around the world; in a variety of industries including healthcare, baby products, biotech, fitness technology, retail, legal, city branding, education and entertainment, among many others.

When Doron isn't devising head-turning branding campaigns, teaching the next generation of marketers, or writing books — chances are you can find him traveling the world, sipping an espresso and dreaming up his next great idea.
